What does a Site Survey entail?

Within a day or two of an enquiry, we will aim to visit, measure up the site, discuss the options, provide Costs, and look at booking in the works with you.

For those not able to make weekday meetings, Site-Surveys on a Saturday (and even Sunday) may be possible to arrange.
How do we calculate Costs?

We will use our standard calculations (based on linear metreage and height), but individual characteristics will be taken into account and will be property assessed during a site-survey. For example;

Access to the area to be Fenced (if access is through a property we will protect floors and take necessary care not to cause any damage).

Any Parking restrictions
What are our Payment Terms?

For small to medium Residential Projects, a Deposit is not usually required.

Payment is requested once the works are completed satisfactorily

Our full Payment Terms and T&C’s will be provided the Quoting stage.

How long will it take, and when do we work?
-
As a guide, a standard garden Fence in London will take between 1 to 3 Days - increasing if it’s a long linear metreage, or requires sophisticated Works such as significant Excavations, Setting-Out, or Bespoke Assembly.

Typically we aim to start on-site by 8am Mon-Fri, and we will endeavour to complete the works as estimated in our Quote.

Should the Client or deadline require us to work longer days or at weekends, it should be possible to arrange for our Team to work through (even on the occasional Sunday!).
Do we take the old Fence away?

Yes, we are 'licensed Waste Carriers' and we will remove and responsibly dispose of all waste created during the Works

Waste Removal Costs will be included in the Quote provided
How long will the new Fence last?

North London Fencing provide a 5-year Structural Guarantee on all our works – Should a problem arise with any of our installations, we will swiftly revisit and correct it, free of charge.

We carefully select and assemble quality Materials to create low-maintenance Fencing that should last at decades without any significant issues

Natural 'Weathering' of Materials will inevitably occur, but this will be explained in detail during the Site-Survey, and mitigated during the Build.

Complaints Procedure

North London Fencing are APL and Trustmark registered, should any problems arise with our services, these organisations have a well structured complaints procedure.
